Effective 6 July 2026
Muslimat is built to be private by design. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs. Your personal and worship data stays on your device.
If you grant location permission, your coordinates are used only on your device to calculate prayer times and the qibla direction. Your location is never uploaded to us or shared with anyone. You can instead pick a city manually and skip location access entirely.
If you use the cycle features, the dates you log are stored only on your device (in the app's private storage) and are excluded from device backups. This data is never transmitted off your phone, and we never see it.
Adhan reminders are scheduled locally on your device. No notification data leaves your phone.
When you play a recitation or adhan, the app requests the audio from third-party providers (currently mp3quran.net and islamcan.com). As with any streaming, those servers can see your IP address; we do not send them any personal information about you.
None that identifies you. Muslimat has no account system, no analytics, and no advertising. Settings and logs are stored locally on your device.
Muslimat is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, note it in the app or store listing.
